Sheila O’Keefe is a Bay Area Photographer who has taken her kaleidoscope of experience, gained from her work in business, travel and human services, and turned it into a unique ability to capture in her pictures, the essence of a moment.
Her career has afforded her numerous opportunities to be mentored by gifted photographers with varied styles. The travel she’s done has influenced her great appreciation for the uniqueness and diversity of not only people and places, but for shapes, colors and textures.
Her love of family, children, sports and animals inspire her to capture authentic emotion. And her ability to connect with people, combined with her passion for catching what life is expressing through her camera, results in a photograph that is all at once, unique, memorabale and captivating.
Sheila studied photography and earned a degree at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She has won numerous awards, most recently, for the 6th year in a row, Top Pro for Thumbtack.com and Top East Bay Area Photographer from Expertise.com. She is proud to be a preferred photographer for La Grande Weddings and at Sycamore Creek Vineyards.
